Publish0x Review #1
Publish0x is a crypto-focused blogging platform. I have been using it for just over two months, both to read other people's articles and occasionally to publish my own. The quality of the writing is more consistent than on competitor websites such as Read.cash, and while many of the articles do focus on crypto, other topics are covered too. The crypto-related articles are categorised by topic, for example focusing on a particular currency or exchange.
Each day every Publish0x user can tip up to seven articles, with the tip (in crypto) being shared between the tipper and the article writer to a ratio chosen by the tipper (eg 70:30). These tips are funded by advertisers so there is no cost to the user. As such it is a good way to accrue some crypto, even if you aren't comfortable writing articles yourself. Of course, if you do write articles and can build a large following, your earning potential will increase significantly. So far I have written seven articles and made around $8, having gained close to 100 followers.
Currently, tips are made in a random choice of either ETH, BAT (Basic Attention Token) or LRC (Loopring), though I believe other currencies have been supported in the past. Any earned crypto can be withdrawn to an external wallet without cost once you have hit a (modest) threshold, though you may have to wait a few weeks until the next payment date rolls around.
As I writer, I also appreciate the in-depth statistics that the platform provides. It is possible to see how many views, likes and dislikes each of your articles has received, as well as total earnings (broken down by currency). In addition, there are platform-level statistics such as the number of posts created in a month (more than 7,500 in October - it's certainly active!). Overall, Publish0x is the first place I choose to publish my crypto-related articles and I'll keep using it daily.
