Stakenet (XSN) is a TPoS (Trustless Proof of Stake) network for an interchain ecosystem for crypto currencies of all kinds. The XSN is used as a utility token. The network supports Lightning and has integrated its own cross-chain functionality for interaction with other block chains. TPoS has a higher security level than the conventional PoS method.
TPoS allows the user to own a share of tokens and use any other node to perform staking with higher bandwidth and continuous connectivity without having to share the actual token credit or private key with the other master node. Thus, theoretically, one could store the tokens on a hardware wallet like a ledger and still participate in the network by staking on the rewards.
Unfortunately, the network has a market capitalisation of just under $33 million and therefore does not even rank among the top 250 in CoinMarketCap. Therefore this network is more suitable for speculation than for long-term PoS based secure passive income.
