GNOSIS (GNO) is a prediction market which uses a swarming of the masses to make predictions about the outcome of future events.
Each event is stored at GNO as a token, which users can then buy. Because of the ever changing parameters, which can influence the events, the value of the token also changes.
Like most blockchains GNO has different layers. Specifically there are three different layers (core, service and application layer).
The Gnosis network contains two tokens. The GNO token is based on ERC-20 and was issued by means of ICO (Initial Coin Offering) in 2017.
The maximum capitalisation is 10 million GNO. These tokens can be traded on Exchanges.
Besides there is the OWL Token, which is comparable to a StableCoin. These tokens are used for internal payment of the GNOSIS network and are not available for free trade.
With a market capitalisation of only 40 million $ this is unfortunately a niche block chain project.
