Gifto (GTO) is a gift platform for virtual aninized gifs based on the ERC-20 Blockchain. This is a little bit comparable to the already known CryptoKitties. The main focus for this market is the Asian area, where many animated gifs are offered to content creators of YouTube, blogs, Twitter etc. can get recognition.
With the help of a marketplace the animated gifs can be traded. Personalised and therefore rare animated gifs can also be created.
The ecosystem distinguishes three user groups:
- The creators of multimedia content.
- Creators of virtual animated gifs.
- The last group is the curators, who are responsible for the quality control of the virtual animated gifs.
So this token is only for friends of ERC-20 collectors tokens and not for those who are looking for crypto currencies as a means of payment. Furthermore, this ecosystem is under the management of a company that could go bankrupt at any time, which makes long-term collecting of these tokens unprofitable.
