The Appcoins (APPC) project was launched through an ICO (Initial Coin Offering) in 2017. The goal of this ERC-20 based block chain ecosystem is a decentralised mobile app payment system and also a universal advertising system for mobile devices (Aondroid, Apple etc.)
It should also be noted that the developers have been working on alternative app market platforms since 2009 and therefore know what their goal is. Only since 2017 the Blockchain was added as a base layer to the goal.
As with other block chain efforts, the better transparency of costs in the mobile app market is to be emphasised here. Contrary to the usual finding of the consensus, the PoA (Proof of Attention) is used here, i.e. the user has to work with the application for a certain period of time to confirm the consensus and receive a reward.
Unfortunately, the project is never able to establish itself further over a strong initial phase. At the moment the project is languishing in the lower ranks of the CoinMarketCap with a capitalisation of only $11 million.
